In March 2013, during ITB - Berlin, New Thracian Gold with ECEAT – The Netherlands will introduce Eastern Rhodopes as a destination for eco and adventure tourism. The team of tourism component - Michaela Kircheva and Johan Bekhuis planned hiring a booth, where, besides printed matter will be organized meetings with specialized tour operators. ITB is the world's leading Tourism Forum, open for business and general public, with representatives of tourism companies, resorts, associations, regions, associations, municipalities and media from around the world.
In 2012 Michaela Kircheva visited the exhibition as a guest of the stand of the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism when at the official presentation Bulgaria's Deputy Minister Ivo Marinov pointed New Thracian Gold as a good example of successful development of sustainable tourism products in the Eastern Rhodopes.
