Competition for support of local farmers in areas with high biodiversity

Green Balkans, with the support of EuroNatur - Fund for European Heritage, began recruiting candidates for participation in the project for “Support local farmers in areas with high biodiversity - protected areas in Natura 2000 and Green Belt ".

The aim of the project is to support different farmers operating in regions of high biodiversity.
Such are the protected areas from the European ecological network Nature 2000 (www.nature2000bg.org) and/or territories from the international initiative European Green Belt (www.greenbelt.biodiversity.bg) which are there in the region of Ivaylovgrad, Svilengrad, Elhovo, Bolyarovo, Tundzha, Sredets and for exception some other nearby areas.

The support is providing of equipment, machinery, a number of animals to supplement herd, pedigree animals for genetic improvement through the herd, reconstruction of buildings or individual rooms, and other means used by farmers in their typical work.

Completed aplication documents shall be submitted until 17:00 on 11.11.2011.
