Again awards for two wine producers from NTG at Winery 2013

Two wine producers from the Network of "New Thracian Gold" (NTG) were awarded at Winery 2013:
- 1st prize in the category of red wines for “Tsareva polyana” wine (Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon) of Dimcho Dimitrov (supported by firm “Block Sten BG Standard” of Yonko Todorov); and
- 3rd prize in the category of red wine for wine “Tokmakly” - Cabernet Franc of company “Block Sten BG Standard” of Yonko Todorov. His wine was awarded last year at Winery as well.

The "New Thracian Gold" (NTG) was again invited to participate in international exhibitions "Foodtech" and "Winery", held from 3 to 6 April in Plovdiv. The invitation was special recognition for the successful performance of the project at BioAgra month ago.

The stand of the project exhibited three major partners of NTG: "Jam and Jam" Ltd., maker of jams, including the first series of hip and strawberry jam from the Eastern Rhodopes, "Bloksten BG Standard", held by the manufacturers of organic grapes and wine Y. Todorov and Dimcho Dimitrov, and meet processing plant "Asenovgrad" for which the project expected to be processed organic certified sheep and beef from the producers in Eastern Rhodopes.

Dimo Karaboyukov, producer of organic wines and brandy from the region of Stambolovo presents NTG at the stand of Association "Sustainable Society" and Örganichno”journal. The association organized in three consecutive days a workshop called “Cooking health”, where the special guest is Blagovesta Vassileva from the organic demonstration farm of NTG in the village of Gorno Pole, Madzharovo Municipality. She explained and demonstrated how to make typical East Rhodopean dishes.

Wine "Tokmakly - Cabernet Franc 2011" new crop 2012 of Yonko Todorov from Stambolovo and new blend “Cabernet Franc - Cabernet Sauvignon” of Dimcho Dimitrov, both organic and partners in the network of NTG again competed for red wines “consumer’s choice” in "Winery". For three days visitors tasted foods and wines to determine the best Bulgarian products presented at the exhibitions. At the stand of the project visitors can taste wine from organic grapes of Yonko Todorov, sausages or jams from producers, NTG partners, and to learn about the project.

Representatives of the project used the opportunity to create many new contacts with Bulgarian and international companies.
