NTG at the Kardzhali Festival in May

The New Thracian Gold project was the only organization with green activities that was presented at the Kardzhali Festival “Future with Traditions” (14 May). The project had a small pavilion which was furnished with NTG tourism and agricultural products from the Eastern Rhodopes.

More than 150 pastries participated in the Banitsa (Pastry) competition, the special highlight of the Festival. The NTG also had its own „vita trakiiska banitsa“ („spiral Thracian banitsa“).

Parliament chairperson Ms. Tsetska Tsacheva and Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov were special guests.

The Festival was organized for the first time and presented the lifestyle and culture of local communities, crafts and folklore.
