What do the Photo Traps in “Studen Kladenets” Capture?
The team of New Thracian Gold continues monitoring the behaviour of the recently released Red Deer in the area of Studen Kladenets Game Reserve.
The monitoring is done with two photo traps.Additionally the NTG wildlife officers and the gamekeepers of the reserve go out searching for tracks and direct observations. It was observed that most red deer live in two small groups, which are a few kilometers apart.
On March 17th, four more photo traps were installed for more intensive tracking of the animals.
The most interesting photos from the photo traps will be uploaded to the web page and facebook page of NTG.
The new 4 photo traps were provided for by "Geomarine" Ltd., for which we sincerely thank them.
