New Eco Project for the Eastern Rhodopes

The maintenance of habitats and the conservation of animal populations in the reserves of  Zhenda, Borovets, Chamlaka, Boraka and Valchi dol is in the scope of the activities of a new project executed by the Regional Environmental Inspectorate in Haskovo.

The local Nov Zhivot newspaper informs that the European Program "Environment" approved this Haskovo project, which will be conducted in the next three years.

The plan is to improve the visitor infrastructure in the reserves. The habitats of the Black Pine (Pinus nigra) will be restored. An information panel will be placed at the entrance of Zhenda Reserve.
