Bulgaria Ranks Fourth in the World Ranking of the Most Affordable Tourist Destination

Bulgaria ranks fourth in the world as a country with the highest quality of tourist product at an affordable price. This reveals the latest Holiday Barometer, which is conducted annually by the British Post Office. The review includes 40 countries worldwide. Leading in the  list are Sri Lanka, Spain and the Czech Republic. Countries like Hungary, Portugal, Croatia and Turkeyare ranking behind Bulgaria.

According to the survey, the Bulgarian tourism is no longer focussing primarily on  traditional summer and winter style holydays, but increasingly on balneo, spa, golf and eco tourism as well. This year, the analysis ranks the Bulgarian lev again sixteenth in the list of  the most purchased currency. The Euro, US dollar and Turkish lira are the leading currencies in the world list. .
