The village of Sbor

The abandoned village of Sbor is situated in the picturesque valley of the River Dyushun dere in the Eastern Rhodopes. In the 80s of the twentieth century it was abandoned and gradually nature has taken over the village and almost erased all traces of human activity.  In September 2011 Bulgaria’s first– Tarpan were reintroduced here.
