Projects for Modernization of Farms and Micro Enterprises Receive Nearly BGN 7.8 Million

Financial support is granted for 30 projects under Measures 121 “Modernization of Agricultural Holdings” and 312 “Support for Establishment and Development of Micro Enterprises” of Rural Development Program, the Ministry of Agricultural and Food informs. They were approved during a session of Expert Committee foe ensuring transparency this week. Proposals are 11 under Measure 121 with total amount of subsidy nearly BGN 1 884 000. Under Measure 312, State Fund “Agriculture” will pay about BGN 6 million to 19 micro enterprises for good implementation of the investment plan.

Most of funds under Measure 121 will be directed to 9 animal breeding farms. Equipment for cleaning and transporting of manure will be purchased with part of funds. Farmers will invest also in equipment for milking, as well as in equipment for covering the requirements under Nitrates Directive. Two of the projects are for farms with perennial plants of table grapes, which holdings will transform from traditional to biological production.
8 photovoltaic stations will be built with subsidies under Measure 312.

Another 8 beneficiaries will invest in guest houses and repair of forest canton, as well as in yurts for mobile tourist center. Also will be purchased machinery for second processing of raw skin and modernized car service-station.
