Bio & Eco Expo 2011 in Sofia

Over 60 Bulgarian and foreign companies were present at the second Bio&Eco international exhibition in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia on September 14 – 17. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was the organizer of the specialized display for organic food, drinks, cosmetics etc. The whole event was under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov.

The event aimed the promotion of organic products.


The participating companies had the opportunity for setting up new business contacts and to start a fruitful future partnership with importers, exporters, wholesalers and retailers of organic food and beverages, food additives, herbs, spices; natural and organic cosmetics; agricultural producers; owners and managers of hotels and restaurants; catering companies; gourmet specialists; consulting companies; etc.

The companies included presented milk and milk products, different kinds of flour, mixtures for home made bread and the bread itself, herbs, spices, drinks, organic clothes and natural cosmetics, honey, produced in special areas, eco technologies, such as protective gears for self-phones etc.
