Todor from NTG Eco-club with Golden Medal from National Ecology Competition

Todor Todorov from 12 "b" Class of "Otets Paissii" School in Kardzhali won the first place and the golden medal at the 12th National Science and Ecology Competition that took place in the town of Burgas (at the Black Sea coast) on 19 and 20 October 2013. Todor is one of the most active members in the Youth eco-club of New Thracian Gold.

Todor was honored for his in depth knowledge and genuine love in nature, diligence and conviction in the presentation of his activities jountly with other nature fans. 36 representatives from different schools all over the country participated in the competition. Eight-member jury was composed of prominent Bulgarian scientists.

The topic that Todor presented is "Protecting the population of tortoises on the teritorry of the Ada Tepe" (an area near the town of Krumovgrad).
