NTG in ARK’s annual report 2012
Several items about New Thracian Gold activities and the beautiful region of the Eastern Rhodopes are published in the ARK annual report JaARKrant 2012 (in Dutch). ARK – jointly with Avalon – is the Dutch organization actively working on NTG project in Bulgaria.
Page 8 is fully devoted to NTG and its achievements. On the front page, the NTG guidebook to the Eastern Rhodopes is presented with a text and the cover photo.
Further articles deal with the opening of the new Wild Farm in the village of Gorno Pole (Madzharovo Municipality), the establishment of NTG – Bulgaria Foundation, the Zelena Yabalka (Green Apple) which NTG was awarded for eco-tourism.
One of the articles is about the new observation hide in the “Studen Kladenets” Reserve, built with NTG support and expertise. NTG team leader Frank Zanderink is also in charge with ARK’s internship program for ecology and tourism students. Last year, 52 students applied for internship participation in various ARK projects. Tim Asbreuk was among the happy few who came to the Eastern Rhodopes to work in the wilderness component. In the annual report he shares memories of his unforgettable three months in the region.
“Gold you can discover yourself, feel, taste, drink, smell, enjoy... All this in one is the new Thracian gold in the Eastern Rhodopes”, Iva Tontcheva, NTG PR and communication experts writes.
