NTG Will Participate in Uzana Polyana Fest 2013
New Thracian Gold (NTG) will participate at Uzana Polyana Fest 2013. The NTG stand will present the festival guests organic and local produce from the Eastern Rhodopes, various tourism brochures, like the guidebook and the tourist map and NTG project brochures which inform about its three components - ecotourism, organic farming and wildlife.
Michaela Kircheva, NTG-coordinator on ecotourism announced this after she attended the 2012 edition of the festival, which was organized from 13 to 15 July in the area of Uzana in Stara Planina Mountain. Uzana is a place for demonstration of best practices based on green lifestyle, for generating new ideas on green initiatives, for sharing of experience, etc. Here is where all the organizations and people with "green" thinking meet. Producers can sell their products and exchange contacts like at the Green Days where NTG regularly participates, she said.
The main objective of Uzana Polyana Fest is to provide the opportunity for sharing experiences and ideas to organizations, projects and companies working in the field of sustainable development and environmental management.
Uzana Polyana Fest was organized for the second consecutive year with the financial support of the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program (SGP), Gabrovo Municipality and Ministry of Environment and Water.
More than 200 people from 60 different organizations, craft associations and companies working in the field of sustainable development joined the event.
