Nеw Thracian Gold at Green Days 2012

Organic and local produce from the Eastern Rhodopes will be presented at the stand of the Bulgarian-Dutch project New Thracian Gold (NTG) during Green days of 2012 - Spring festival of responsible tourism, nature and healthy living, from 20 to 22 April in Sofia.

The visitors at the NTG stand can buy wine, tahini, honey, walnuts, almonds from the area. They also could obtain information about the agricultural producers. More and more farms in the Eastern Rhodopes open for tourists and guests who can not only see how the food is produced, but also buy fresh produce directly from producers.

NTG desk will offer the guidebook and the tourist map of the Eastern Rhodopes and information on organized and individual trips to the region, tourist leaflets, brochures about the Tarpan days (27-29 April) and the Bread Festival in the village of Rabovo (28 July).

The Green Days festival, which is traditionally organized in the garden in front of the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov", will present green tourism destinations, parks, municipalities and NGOs in the field of biodiversity and sustainable development, producers and importers of organic food products. The Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Sofia Municipality, Bulgarian Association for Alternative Tourism and Odysseia-in Ltd will host several events during the Green days.
