Bulgaria Joined the European Charter
Bulgaria joined the European Charter on Cooperation 2011-2014, with the signature of H.E. Mr. Marin Raikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Paris, the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Agency for Food Safety Dr. Yordan Voinov, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food informs.
The official signing took place during the fourth edition of the European Round Tables 2011 in Paris, France. Bulgaria joined the Charter for the first time that exists nearly 30 years and brings together 33 countries that share experience in the food sector. Charter allows training of young officers not only in France but also in other counties. The training is within three weeks.
European editions of the round tables are held in an interval of three years. This year's event brought together nearly 900 people from member countries of the professionals in the sector. The event is organized by the Professional Training Centre Mont Mercure in the town of Vendee, France.
