For a second successive year, the "New Thracian Gold" project organises a Day of organic farming in the Eastern Rhodopes, which will be held on September 9, 2011. The day will start at the organic farm of Krassimir Arabadzhiev in the village of Topolovo, Madzharovo municipality. Besides sharing information, knowledge and experience among producers, processors and traders, the event aims to promote production and consumption of organic food products. Local organic food and traditional dishes will be tasted. The Day will provide the opportunity for social interaction between the local farming community and local municipal administrations of the five target municipalities included in the project and representatives of Ministry of Agriculture and Food, regional offices for agricultural extension, NGOs and others.
